Summertime

Sunflowers

There's been a drought this year so the birds really appreciate the birdbath.

This purple finch is one of hundreds that visit daily

Pink Knock Out roses do well.

These are pretty much disease and drought resistant

Winter Blossoms

Orchids blooming so far this winter

My orchids are beginning to come into bloom.
Over the next few months I expect to have many phalaenopsis and dendrobiums showing off.

This oncidium really smells like chocolate.

One of my favorite phalaenopsis.

I can't really take credit for this Vanda. I bought it in bloom.
The challenge will be to get it to bloom again next year.

A few remarkable plants like this camelia are blooming outside
in spite of the freezing weather.

Another camelia

Even a few gerber daisies have survived the cold.

Pansies are a good cold weather plant in Florida.
